Code of Ethics
DotBoost Technologies has adopted a professional code of ethics, covering the two aspects of our work: software engineering and business management consulting
We have adhered to the Software Engineering Code of Ethics and Professional Practice as recommended by Association for the Computing Machinery and to the Institute of Management Consultants USA code of ethics.
Management Consultants Commitment
- We will serve the clients with integrity, competence, independence, objectivity, and professionalism.
- We will mutually establish with clients realistic expectations of the benefits and results of services rendered.
- We will only accept assignments for which we possess the requisite experience and competence.
- Before accepting any engagement, we will establish with the clients a mutual understanding of the objectives, scope, work plan, and fee arrangements.
- We will treat appropriately all confidential client information, take reasonable steps to prevent it from access by unauthorized people, and will not take advantage of proprietary or privileged information without the client's permission.
- We will avoid conflicts of interest.
- We will agree in advance with a client on fees and expenses that are reasonable and commensurate with the services delivered and the responsibility accepted.
Software Engineers Commitment
- We will act consistently with the public interest.
- We will act in a manner that is in the best interests of our clients consistent with the public interest.
- We will ensure that their products and related modifications meet the highest professional standards possible.
- We will maintain integrity and independence in our professional judgment.
- We subscribe to and promote an ethical approach to the management of software development and maintenance.
- We will advance the integrity and reputation of the profession consistent with the public interest.
- We will be fair to and supportive of our colleagues.
- We will participate in lifelong learning regarding the practice of our profession and promote an ethical approach to the practice of the profession.
